The practice of meditation enlightens the mind.
Meditation power enhances and preserves the calmness and tranquility of
the mind.

How to practice Meditation
1. Choose your God, which appeals to you most
2. Choose two times - 5am/6am and 6.30pm/7.30pm
3. Choose a place where you can sit in silence.
4. Spread the meditation-seat and sit upon it with folded legs, keep the
back bone, neck and head erect. Let the hands rest on the top of your
feet. Close you eyes.
5. Think of the vast blue sky[without even clouds] filled with dim light,
for two minutes. Mind and body get relaxed within the time.
6. Concentrate the consciousness into a region of your heart. Now assume
that there is a beautifully decorated golden seat. Also imagine hat your
God is sitting on the seat fully living and conscious.
7. Mentally offer your prayer. Pray for peace of mind, devotion and good
health.
8. Meditate 5 to 10 mts. During meditation, your mind may run away from
the God. Bring back the consciousness again and again, fix it on the Deity.
9. Now start repetition of the name of your God [ should be 108 or multiples
of 108 times]
10. Now you can offer mental worship. Do mentally the pooja with five
items –
1. Gandha(sandal paste)
2. Pushpa (flowers-tulasi, bilva keaves etc.)
3. Dhupa (incense sticks)
4. Dipa (Karpoora Aarati)
5. Naivedya ( fruits and sweets with drinking water)
11. Now you can offer all the results of your meditation at the feet of
your God by offering a handful of flowers at the feet of the God mwntally.
Continue to sit there fore some time more and do some chanting.
